I am Jill-ed!

I couldn't help but smiling enthusiastically when I saw the Harvey Nichols plastic bag on my desk last week. To my anticipation, there were the aube eyeshadow palette (click here) and of course, the princess of all make up: JILL STUART collection!!!!!
To all the fanatic makeup fans, this name is no stranger at all. JS has been very famous for their romantic packaging and vibrant colors.
So, after much consideration, I actually went for the jelly eyeshadow and the blushers.

So, of course, below is for your eyes (and cheek) pleasure only. The packaging is so romantic and elegantly designed which made me a little bit pulled back to use them.

Jill Stuart Blush Blossom : #1 Romantic Sweet Pea

Check out the pretty brush!

Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color N #8 Crystal Sky

Take alittle closer look at the texture! It's creamy and smooth!

Sadly, they are not sold in Singapore at this moment. But you can always get them in Taiwan, HongKong, or Japan!
Anybody itchy to get them now after looking at above eye candy!?!?

Feeling princessy,

Aube Couture Designing Shine Eyes 531

Yes, the title is self explanatory. After reading a post by my blogger friend LunaPourpre, i just couldn't wait to lay my hand on Aube Couture product. So after much research and drooling in front of my laptop, I decided that I would grab Aube Couture 531 Designing Shine Eyes. To my much anticipation, thanks to my colleague Mark who went to Tokyo, this palette is really beautiful that it hurts!

Check this out!

The pretty packaging. It's interesting how you have to press
the side in order to open the palette

The Palette (inside view)

The closer look at the palette.

If you noticed, Sofina cosmetic has not neglected the fact that maybe some girls out there are not sure on how to put on eye make up. This palette was created complete with the step by step and shaped like an eye!

I'm so happy that I finally have it, and absolutely one of my fave palette from now on.

Feeling pretty,

Kko Kko Nara : Chicken Kko Kko Kei

This is abit late post. I & Kadice went to Kko Kko Nara for their famous chicken. It was our first visit to this Korean place. It is located at Tanjong Pagar area.

It was abit dark place but cozy for us to chat the whole night through. I read alot of rave about the chicken that it is sooooo delicious. With my expectation up several bars, I went with empty stomach

I must say, I taste the same chicken at Melbourne *Halla Restaurant*, so Kko Kko Nara doesnt impress me much anymore. Yes, I agree that it's tasty. If you have never tried this kind of fried chicken before, you should give it a try. But somehow, I'm not particularly blown away.

We ordered 1 mix chicken combo (honey glazed chicken + Garlic chicken + spicy chicken ) and a plate of pancake. Total bill: around SGD45

I personally will give it 2.5 out of 5. You can try and let me know :)

Flat Butt no more

I often see girl with flat butt around, and honestly, evil me sometimes feel happy to witness those. Not because I laugh at their rear asset, but because we share the same problem.
Unlike my elder sister who has very nice glutes, I was born with flat butt. They are not entirely flat, but they are not flattering when I wear jeans.

To solve the problem, I do have tricks. This is what I'm going to share with you.
They are no revelation tips, but most of us may read it without knowing that they works. So here I am telling you, below workS!

1. Wear trousers with back flap pocket
This is the best way to plump up your butt and gives that sexy curves. For working pants, I hardly wear pants without back flap. 2 pockets behind are not enough! You need the FLAP!
The flap will give illusions that you have some perky butt behind it, which obviously you dont!
Isn't it smart?

2. Use the 'fake butt' underwear
I came across this product last year. It's quite genious in a way that people won't know what is inside, but they see perky butt from outside. It instantly gives you J.Lo famous backside without 1,239,102 number of squats.
I got myself one of this product, but I don't wear it. Reason being, I feel it's not natural. People who know me would know I am the flat-butt girl, not the J.Lo kind. It's too fake. But I must say, if you plan to wear your Herve Leger bandage dress to a party, this fake butt dress will make your shape hot!

3. The easiest one, wear blouse that covers your glutes
At least, cover half of it! this is important! Do not tuck your blouse into a cotton pants without back-flap pockets. This is suicidal. People who walk behind you, stand below you on the elevator will giggle and look at you as if you are some funny creatures. Trust me, I feel that way!

4. Last but not least, run that 30 storeys everyday, and do 1,675,214 squats per week
Self explanatory, you would rather do the 3 above.

Yes, this maybe very pointless post. It derives from the fact that I saw a girl at Suntec who did the fatal mistake of tucking in her blouse into her skinny cotton pants. Like one of my girl said before, "Pass me the revolver!"

Night and happy weekend all,

Melbourne Food 1 - Pancake Parlour

I've been procrastinating to blog about this pancake heaven. The Man introduced me to this shop while we actually went to Melbourne Central to kill time. Conveniently located 3 storeys above the train station, no surprise it always catches the crowd.

When I look at the menu, it was full of variety and in some way confuse me. It took my addled brain two trips to roughly understand the menu there.

Menu taken from Pancake Parlour website

My first visit to Pancake Parlour was for Breakfast. What is better than waking up to a sumptuous breakfast in the morning!!
The cut off time for breakfast is 12pm! In fact we visited the shop by 11.45am...not so early. We placed the order by 12pm, and a cute waiter helped us to push the order into the kitchen, and YES, we got our breakfast

Wise choice for breakfast:

Farmer's Breakfast: 2 buttermilk pancakes, homemade
hashbrown, two free range eggs served any style, with
whipped butter and maple syrup *thumbs up*

Earl Grey Tea - served with fresh hot milk!

As for the 2nd visit, we reached there for DINNER!!! yay! The choice is still there for dinner. An indulgence in this shops with all the pancake choice.

Scotch Fillet Steak rested on buckwheat pancakes,
crowned with mushroom sauces....slurp!

Original Lemon and Sugar Pancake for Sweet desserts!

Overall, my own review, I DReAM about this place! I'm just loving it. It's something new, some concept that Singapore should have. I hardly find a good pancake place in Singapore. To sum up, this place is LOVELY!

In the eyes of God

Sitting on the bench at Catholic church of St Theresia, Jambi, while writing this post. Just sat through a long pre-marriage education with the Pastor, with some choir songs in the background.

Pastor actually briefed us about how a good family should be, especially in Catholic way. And finally, I was interviewed in the room with Pastor with all the questions to ensure that we have made the right decision.

Finally, he asked the question: is he the one for you? And I said YES...and Pastor gave his blessings.

Melbourne, I miss you

A long hiatus since the last time I updated this blog. I was away to Melbourne for our pre-wedding photo. A pleasant trip. My guy has been raving about this city from the moment we chatted about holiday. Everytime he talks about Melbourne, his voice is full of passion, his eyes glitters (Okay, I'm exaggerating..LOL).
Melbourne says Hi.....
Basically, we waited very long for this trip. I'd been literally crossing out my calendar, day by day to the trip...and I must say, it's all worth the wait! To him, this is also another inaugural A380 trip. He's a big fans of aviation and flying A380 is big deal to him. For me, it's big deal too because A380 has bigger room for legs, even has extra lower cabinet for us to put our hand carry. *comfy comfy*
Melbourne, here we come!!
The extra space at the side
It's enough to cater for our handbag..that's spacious!
Yes, LV says Harlow too....

When we reached there, we were actually pretty jet-lagged and starved. So, my first meal in Melbourne was actually a lovely korean instant noodles prepared by my love. It's just simply stomach fulfilling and tasty.
Well, I have tons of photos to upload and tell you the Melbourne story...but meantime, stay tune to the next episodes because JumpBeeMama needs to rest....for my beautysleep!
I promise you! Be prepared for 'superyummyfoodyouwilldrool' episodes!

Hugs,

Half Boiled Eggs to the Perfection

Well, I'm not sure if I need to post this as recipe because it does not have any recipe at all in fact. I love eggs, particularly fried eggs with some crispy bites at the sides. However, everybody can fry eggs easily because you can see how the skin turns out, the color, etc.

The tricky part is when we try to make half-boiled eggs. You can not find out whether the egg white has turned solid? is it overcooked? too runny? So, there is a way to reach out to perfect half-boiled eggs. Those runny yolks with pepper and soya sauce. slurp!

There is an easy way to make perfect half-boiled eggs. It is with this below magic helper. My mom used to have this and it works very well. Fail-proof kind.

However, if you don't have this maker at home, I can share with you the traditional way of making half-boiled eggs to the perfection, at least my version. Mom's way!

1. Boiled water until you see all those bubbles!!

2. Turn off the stove, and put in eggs. Eggs should be in room temperatures.
I accidentally crack an egg. Please ignore those messy white

3. Now, it's time for JumpBeeMama's trick. Check out those bubbles coming up from the eggs. You will see row of bubble up (just like in champagne! cheers!). This bubble thing will last for around 6 minutes if your eggs are with room temperatures.
If your eggs are straight from the fridge, the whole time should be around 7.5 minutes.
When there is no more bubbles, or maybe a little....it's time to serve the eggs!
(Time varies depend on what eggs you use. I use kampung eggs (free range chicken) here)

4. Lastly, Serve it with a teaspoon of soya sauce and little pepper!!! High in Protein, easy to serve!

Enjoy!!!

Dress Me Up...!!

So, I'll be officially The Man's wife by this upcoming December, lawfully. Thus, a lot of wedding preparation going on in my current life. First stop, the DRESS!!!! Yes. The WHITE DRESS!

If not all, most girls grow up with their dream wedding dress in mind. A good marketing job by Disney or all fairy tales storybook company. But for myself, I don't have one. My wedding dress emerged from mommy's wedding dress -> tube dress -> hollywood simple dress and the list went on.

But now, as my real turn, I was lost in search of the perfect wedding dress. Simply not because I did not have idea what i would love to wear, but because I want to wear them all in one day. I don't know about all other bride-to-be, but for myself, I'd love to wear them all!

One good website that I've found recently is Wedding Inspirasi. I religiously follow this wedding wear blog nowadays. It's just one of the most complete wedding dress book that you want to know when planning for your big day. From asian designer to middle east and up to Europe designer. She covers them all

Anyway, for myself, I've decided to have my wedding dress done by an Indonesian designer. He is known as Pak Adrian. One of the lecturer in Susan Budihardjo Fashion School. I trust my day to him and I hope he will make me as one of the prettiest bride ....at least in my hometown

The deal is a lot of liaising done remotely. As i'm still working in Singapore, and the designer is based in Indonesia, numerous texting, and phone call to make sure we can get the best out of everything.

So, recently I went back to Indonesia to have my first measurement (after long diet effort). We decided to have kebaya look dress with lace as main fabric.

Not many photos for now, but at least there you are. Me - measured - happy bride!!!

Not sure why The Man always took photo of me from Top view. I look like Queen Ant instead of Bee

Bee is Ready to Jump

So, we have new logo now. Our new mascot - Miss Bee! (Big thanks to Ms Elizabeth Heng)
My man wanted to contribute to this blog and call himself as The Man. LOL...or was it D'man? Well, he may be covering gadget for me, or once in a while he may be the guest star

I have some photos from Equinox, will be going for another round of good dinner soon. So, stay tune.

This is our first post. JumpBee's inauguration. The idea of starting this blog actually came when I knew i'm going back to Indonesia for good very soon. It's not bad thing because I'm marrying the man I love very much and to start happy family with him. Our family.
